QUALITY
All cacao is not created equal. Our ceremonial grade paste is derived from the finest Peruvian Criollo beans ethically sourced and organically grown. Minimally processed, our cacao paste has not undergone conching or tempering as traditional chocolate has. Lightly roasted to enhance the flavours, cacao gold paste is 100% solid sugar free cacao with nothing added. When selecting our cacao we only choose the most delicious and exceptional cacao we can find with a complex flavour profile and superior texture. We think it’s the best cacao in the world.
As an additional step for product purity, we also ensure our cacao paste meets the Australian standards for safe low levels of cadmium. Cacao Paste is a 50:50 ratio of naturally occurring cacao powder and cacao butter. As cacao butter does not contain cadmium, the overall cadmium content is under the Australian regulation.Our fairy traded sustainable cacao ensures producers receive a fair price for their cacao and helps break the cycle of poverty bringing opportunities and dignity to indigenous communities.
